19+ years in insurance, including 12 years managing complex and litigated claims across workers' compensation, general liability, auto, and subrogation. James developed claims training programs and led adjuster education at the enterprise level before transitioning to independent agency ownership. He holds an MBA in International Business and an MS in Leadership and Ethics, and is licensed in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Washington, and Texas.
Maggie Roberts
20+ years across corporate investigations, financial crime compliance, and technology implementation. Maggie's background includes leading AML investigations at Bank of America — including complex multi-agency cases involving financial organized crime — and overseeing enterprise-wide compliance analytics at Walmart and Caesars Entertainment. She holds a Master of Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. Maggie brings a level of fraud awareness and risk intelligence to our clients that is rare in an independent agency setting.
Kristen Kalwei
15+ years in sales leadership, coaching, and client advocacy — including nearly a decade at Dell Technologies where she led teams of 85+ sales professionals and consistently exceeded production goals. Kristen holds a real estate background that gives her a practical understanding of property transactions, closing timelines, and what buyers and investors need from an insurance partner. She specializes in small business coverage, real estate-adjacent insurance, and car wash operations. A Kansas City native and UMKC graduate, Kristen brings responsiveness and local market knowledge to every client relationship.
